The driver of a bus involved in a fatal
accident has missed his court hearing

After a bus accident in South London
in which one man died and six other people required hospital
treatment the driver has failed to appear in court.
Bus accident driver Raouf Mraidi 30, was driving in Croydon
in 2008 when he was in collision with a tram and then hit a
parked BMW car.
Tragically a 28 year old man who was a passenger on the bus died
and six others were taken to hospital.
At
Croydon Crown Court, Mraidi was in his absence sentenced to
four years in prison for causing death by dangerous driving.
Police are searching for the whereabouts of Raouf Mraidi so that
he can face the courts and his punishment.
