THINK! are running a campaign to promote
the importance of pedestrians, particularly children being seen
by motorists in the dark
- 30th September 2009
With winter drawing nearer, the clocks about to go back, and
evenings getting darker earlier and earlier it is important that
people can be seen
easily around roads, and help prevent
road accidents.
Children are especially vulnerable to
pedestrian accidents
around roads and should always wear reflective clothing when it
is dark.
With this in mind THINK! are running their 'Be
Bright Be Seen' campaign from the 23rd October, aimed at
highlighting the importance of children being visible to
motorists in the dark.
The campaign will be shown on TV, at the cinema and run online
through to mid December, with promotional material available
from the THINK! Website.
